SWENSEN'S TRIP!
sooooo sec 4 level camp is a total bore.
the only exciting event that is worth looking forward to is actually dressing up and going to swensens for fine dining.
it was'nt that wow-ing, but at least it was fun.
the "lectures" before we head off to ION Orchard was really..
BORING.
even the ice-breakers were unengaging.
this whole workshop is a total failure luh.
it really does not know how to deal with students' interests.
but anyway, lets just talk about the swensens trip.

first of all, DRESSES AND SKIRTS WERE WORN BY ALL 4/8 GIRLS.
hahaha omg i just cant believe it.
it looks cool actually.
all the heels and make-up.
now the food.
the soup was cold.
okay thats not too bad.
i dint really fancy the fried stuff they served.
but the chocolate ice cream was fantastic!
i started off trying to follow the rules of fine dining,
but after some time i just revert back to the "wrong ways".
hahaha oopss!

bused back to school at around 2 plus and we still had that ecareers thing.
we were all wearing our dresses and shirts to the com lab.
the sec 1s having camp in school were staring at us.
but in all, it was a great time!
memories for 4/8! :)

its the new year.
ok im a bit slow.
so ive not been blogging for three weeks.
life is as per normal.
oh nono.
life is much more hectic than ever, with studies.
events that just passed--cca open house on 090110.
we dint have a swing this year, but we had a dustbin!
i hope we managed to motivate some sec 1s about girl guides.

maybe its the new year, thats why i came to realise and accept certain facts.
some things are beyond my control, and i shouldnt let them affect me emotionally.
move on.

its new year's eve!
last day of the year again.
how fast.
i've finished sec 3.
i still remember how excited i was last year about new class and upper sec life.
and one year just passed like that, in a blink.
this year seemed shorter than any other year.
but its the busiest year i've ever had.
just reflecting, i learnt loads in the past 364 days.

Friendship.
thank you all my friends who made my year,
particularly Joe Yee and Salina.
although we're in different classes,
thing's still the same.
Thank you for everything, seriously i mean everything.
3/8'09 has been a pleasant new experience for me.
enjoyed being as a class.
im looking forward to more excitement in 4/8'10! :)
juniors and seniors have made my year fufilling too.
thanks for being there!

Leadership.
it should be cca rather.
it's been a year of new stuff, and my very first time of understanding real leadership.
it was never easy for a start, but i know since 18/08/2009, 5.53pm, i have a responsibility.
i could put it as the greatest challenge for the year.
through bits and pieces, i've grown to be a lot stronger.
4 months has passed since we step up,
and i promise i'll do my very best to be a better leader for the last 4 months.
thank you to those who helped me in the greatest falls of my life in this area.
just a few so i'll name it all.
Joe Yee, thank you for always being there to understand and listen to anything about what im going through.
Hippos, its been great experience working with you guys. Thanks for being supportive!
Jonathan, you gave me the biggest lesson on leadership. Thank you!
Guides from other schools, thanks for your assurance and advice. true Guiding is
out there with you all. :)
and I'm really grateful for being able to have a chance to experience all these.

Studies.
i have to admit i didnt put in my best effort for the EOYs.
so i will be consistent and focus more next year.
i will do well for o levels! :D

Just Myself.
i've been through most this year.
there was a lot of struggle with emotions here and there.
but im thankful for it.
it helped me to grow up and learn.
i have accepted the fact that changes are inevitable, especially now in our lives.
they make us learn and mature.
in all, i just hope people will be understanding in terms of being more other-centered.
i wish, i wish, i wish..

SHERRI'S BBQ!!
went to sherri's house for her farewell bbq.
loads of fun there with the 3/8'09 gals.
playing with water, night walking..
enjoy before sec 4 comes!

went with Jolin to buy sherri's gift at tampines.
and she was EARLY! hahahaa!
then took bus to jing yi's house.
jean and jeannie were late! haha.
waited for them for about one hour then bused to sherri's house,
a chalet-like condo.

i helped out with firelighting for the bbq! hoho.
but there were no husks if not it'll be better.
we had great cooks--Jonathan, Amos and Shane.
just look at their chicken.

SUPER CANCEROUS!

we had water play by the pool when it was dark.
all of us were soaking wet!
then went to sherri's house to dry up.
and then comes NIGHT WALK.
sherri said there were some haunted place there.
so we went to jalan jalan,
10 girls night walking!
nothing special actually.
just a path.

went back sherri's house for a little while more,
took pictures, then played with sparkles.
time seem to like pass so fast and i needed to get home.
bused back home with jing yi and the rest.

BAAAAACK FROM CAMP CHALLENGE!

there was soooo much that i learnt from camp challenge.
great eye opener.

im going to be a better leader.

much things have happened over the past few weeks.
ive been thinking a lot,
but i also understood and learnt a lot.
was chatting with Jonathan the other day,
and i learnt one very valuable lesson:
the 4 stages of leadership. (though i changed it a little)
and it seemed to apply to me VERY much.
thank you Jonathan!

Stage 1: The first step-Begining to see a whole different world.
You're trying and experimenting different ways for the start.

Stage 2: Breaking down
You feel frustrated, and have thoughts of quitting. You seem to be more pessimistic than ever. Finally when the burden gets to great, you break down.

Stage 3: Accepting
Accept the fact that some things are beyond your control, and accept whatever that you break down for. It is the most painful journey, however after this everything will come easier.
Letting go comes after accepting. Let go of the past and move on.

Stage 4: Happiness
Im supposed to experience this myself. And I believe I will.

NYAA CAMP!
this is the moooost relaxed camp ive been to.
due to the weather conditions, our former plan was cancelled and we followed Plan B, which was the holiday-like one.
most of the time was spent on travelling.
the 8h train ride to and fro, plus many many bus rides.
everything was great except the sleeping area.
i should have brought my sleeping bag!
i would rather sleep on the ground than sleeping on beds of the motel.

i was the earliest to report to school on the first day.
4.15 am and im outside school!
we reached malaysia at about 3 plus.
took a non-aircon bus to eat roti prata.
then travelled to Taman Negara.
we were going up and up the mountain until we saw the clouds.
damn nice.
weather was getting cooler also.
took a boat to Nusa in the evening.
the ride was AWEEEEESOME!
it was almost dark, not completely, plus the clouds and wind,
it was so surreal!
was really like a dream.
that few minutes was most memorable.

reached our motel and had dinner at the floating restaurant.
night walk was up next.
walked around the jungle in the dark, nothing really fantastic though.
night time was play time.
no teachers came to check on us and everyone was playing.
it was more like a chalet than a camp.

on the second day, we hiked through the jungle.
and i could proudly saw we crossed 11 fallen trees!
the hike was fun man.
i love the part where we have to climb through the roots and branches!
shoes were all muddy but who cares?!
and and!
im also proud to say that I DONT HAVE ANY LEECH BITES!
hahaha leeches dont like me.
after the hike we went to visit the Orang Aslis.
they're some tribal village.
omg their lifestyle is damn cool!
they lived with everything that was available in the jungle.
i had a chance to see how whatever we've been doing in girl guides come about.
like the 8-man tent.
gosh, same concept.
and they even had a square lashing.
too bad i dint bring my cam with me for that day.
but it was really an eye-opener.

Rapid Shooting was up next.
it was actually just playing with water on the boat.
but that was fun.
then we had a chance to play in the river with the on going current.
that was fantastic!
we had a great time trying to go against the current.

night activities were simple.
caught insects for the insect race.
and we got to paint our teacher's face with the coloured stones we collected from the jungle during the hike.
my group painted Ms Lim's face!
we ended the night early, at about 10pm.
i never ever got a chance to sleep soooo early in a camp.
but of course, its PLAYTIME.
i was playing uno with Jia Ning and Jolin on the bed.
played till 12 plus then felt like sleeping.

the third day was most relaxed.
after breakfast went to Gua Telinga caves.
the cave was seriously great.
we actually got to visit a real cave.
the natural carvings were so beautiful,
and there were many bats flying around.
due to the bad weather, we dint get to go to the actual planned cave, which required us to crawl and stuff.
i think that will be more challenging, but its okay.

after cave explorations,
we had a grand lunch at some resort.
it was like a wedding dinner,
with champagne glasses and comfortable chairs.
is this a camp???
the food was great though.
we had flying fox at the resort over a lake.
the flying fox was'nt steep so it was not scary or thrilling.
after flying,
we went to the swimming pool to PLAY.
seriously play.
so we played catching in the pool like nobody's business.
reminds me of water polo.
mr shafie had his underwater camera.
3/8 took our pic underwater!
i got pushed into the pool many times, once by mr shafie.
once again, is this a camp??

we moved to our new motel which was not any better.
i had a bad bathroom experience in there.
flies.
KFC was for dinner!
i dont know why but malaysia's KFC tastes much nicer.
guess what's after dinner?
SHOPPING!
we walked down the streets in groups.
my group dint get to go to Angel of Love.
wasted.
Dawn managed to buy some stuff there.

we had two hours of free time in our own rooms.
and guess what we did?
camwhore!
produced Desperate Houseflies directed by Jolin.
Featuring Dawn, Cheri, Shirley and Jia Ning.
hahaha we really had nothing to do.
imagine doing this in a camp.

12.40am we left the motel.
walked to the train station, only to know that our train is delayed for more than an hour.
and there was also some mistake in the booking of trains, so in the end we had the seater train and not the sleeper train.
that means no bed for us for the night.
slept uncomfortably until 9 plus in the morning.
had breakfast in the train's cafe.
our bread we bought from 7-eleven is still lost.
because of the delay,
we reached Singapore later than the expected time.
reached school at about 12pm and Dr Ong came to see us.
and then it was byebye.

although this year's NYAA camp was much more relaxed than other years, it was still a great experience for me to enjoy Mother Nature, and insects.

CAMPCAMPCAMP!~
guides camp ended, nyaa up next.
this is one year i wont elaborate much on guides camp, compared to past two years where i storytell.
if i were to elaborate it would be too much and also this time i dint feel it was a camp cause probably i was conducting a camp, not attending one.
i have so much to say but i'll just cut it short.
most importantly, through all the storms we've gone through, ive learnt really, to be a better leader.
a good leader must be cut off from all emotions.
and also, i must learn to let go.
thank you to all those who were there for me at my lowest times.
im perfectly fine now, its always the accepting part thats the hardest.
no matter what, i hope as a whole our guides did enjoy the camp.
THANK YOU SEC 3s FOR ALL THE EFFORT PUT IN.
remember the valuable lesson we learnt this camp.
communication is sooooo important.
thank you teachers who is there to solve our problems.
we would'nt see light without having the help of you all.
thank you seniors who took the time to come back for our campfire.
and thank you softballers for cooperating in the campfire.

its been a loooong time since i last come on blogger.
many events passed these few weeks.
swimming carnival, foundation programme, ballet exam...
i'll skip all those.
tomorrow's the Guides camp already.
how fast.
we've been planning before the exams and now its left to one day.
this planning of camp have been a very tedious and mind boggling project,
but im sure we are better planners and leaders after this camp.
i really hope everything will go smoothly.
PLEASE DO NOT RAIN ON TUESDAY!
though the weather forecast says there might be a chance of thunderstorm.
the campfire must go well!!!!
i dont want to disappoint the seniors and be a joke to the softballers.

i really really hope this camp,
with all the effort the sec 3s have put in,
will be a wonderful 1st camp for the sec 1s, a good camp for the sec 2s to learn, and a memorable last camp for the sec 3s.

Hippos met up for discussions today.
my million and zillion things to do.
meeting time was 8 am.
i was on the dot, only to wait for ONE HOUR for the rest.
Yu Wen was 1h late.
Maliah was 1h 30 min late.
Nadia was almost 2h late.
luckily i brought my tkam if not i'll kill you all! :D

we were super random in our discussions.
wont talk so much here cause its not supposed be known yet.
but all i can say is, today, i learnt a lot.
i learnt that we must perservere to the end no matter how tiring the road is, and we will make it.
i learnt that no matter what we do, it must be the interest of the other 49 girls.
i learnt to adapt to changes fast enough.
most of all, i learnt to become a more optimistic leader.
i promise i will continue to enjoy the next 6 months.
no more negative thoughts. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JING YI!
went to celebrate at wild wild wet.
early in the morning went to dawn's house to practise water polo.
played for almost two hours then went on to downtown east.
i bought my new swimsuit at last!

the guys bought cakes from emicakes and bashed jing yi.
that was fun! :D
spent the whole day at wild wild wet and getting burnt by the sun.
it has been so long since i felt so free.
we were starving after playing and took so long to decide where to eat.
in the end we went to bbq chicken and i had my horrible spagetti.
i gave up eating it and traded with Jonathan his chicken.
actually nothing was nice there.

it was a looong and tiring day but it was so much fun in the water!

EXAAAAMSSS ARE FINALLY OVER!
but i messed up this exam big time.
im confident in none of the subjects, not even e.maths this time.
maybe just a little hope for chemistry..
and i promise myself that i will never do last minute study again.
it really sucks.
whats the big thing now is the big Os coming in less than a month's time.
i need to get my A for chinese if not..forget about escaping lmm's class.

lots and lots of things to do also.
there's camp planning, cip planning, fencing(if im taking it for nyaa), studying and the list goes on.
i cant imagine how tedious it will be next year in sec 4.
how fast.
i dont feel like im a year old in sec 3.

loooooooong time no update.
just a quick post here.
19th sept on the Centenary Launch Party at the Eden Hall.
The Eden Hall, a super grand place.
i got to greet the president's wife!
was only like two steps away from her.
the British/Australian guides and rainbows were awesome.
a great experience with UK guiding.

HAPPY 15tH BIRTHDAY JOE YEE!
one year OLDER than me now.
time flies, another year has passed.
i hope this another year doesnt make you learn to be sick. :)

holidays are going to be on stuuuudyying!
planned out my timetable and there's only one word to describe--hectic.
really no life.
but what to do?
results are really bad.
im failing chemistry.
a.maths isnt getting any better.
i was lucky to get a B3 for physics this time round.

the feeling of going home is just so great.
in the end i still went back to sacps despite prcs school hours ending sooo late.
every other school had half day.
went with Roxanne in her car.
by then we went back many teachers left already.
it was almost 4pm!
i missed Mdm Tan by a bit. ahhhhhhh!
however managed to see my calligraphy teacher, Mrs Lui and Ms Ng.
i am so going back again to see Mdm Tan this year end.
this time the security was very nice,
i dint finish writing my name and he gave me a sticker to enter.

one year.
it was one year ago since i returned to sacps.
how fast is that.
but when i stepped into the school again,
the feeling of returning home,
the feeling of going back to where you belong, is just so great.
i felt the sense of warmth and love once again as i walked through the canteen, hall, corridors, gardens, chapel.
for one day in the year where i feel back to the past,
breaking away from the present for a while.

i realised Ms Chew aged quite a lot.
but im glad she's still the principal.
i cant imagine how sacps will be like with another principal.
heard Sister Angela is in Myanmar now doing mission work.
wish to see her again..

was happy that not much change had been done to the school since last year.
of course those chalkboard times were still the best.
3 years in secondary school, when i went back,
the stairs, canteen, classrooms seemed so small.
but what's the point of having a big school with nothing?
like what Mrs Lui said, "what's important in the school is the people, not so much of the building".
that's definately what sacps is.

got a call from Hui Wen on the bus back home.
so i alighted at one of the stops and walked to tampines mall to meet her.
she was late for 10 minutes!
but its okay at least we get to meet.
went to eat, took a few pictures and i had to go off for tuition.
we'll meet again soon though.

and anyway,
HAPPY 4th DANCE ANNIVERSARY D'EXTREME!
i remembered the date.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!
here's a picture of NDP 2008.
ahhhh i miss you guys man!
those saturdays of tough practices, those laughter,
gosh i really miss it.
this year cause no time, if not i'll definately want to join again.
but at least i got to experience a different kinda ceremony of NDP this year in school.

HEYOOOOOO!
its been a hectic week, but nevertheless fuuunnnnn!
lets start from ndp practices.
monday tuesday wednesday thursday was all filled with ndp practices.
keeping the flag taut(idk how to spell) was a challenge.
and keeping up with the timing of the music was even more difficult.
on wednesday we practiced for loooong just to end exactly the same time as the music.
at the same time busy with ndp stuff,
me and ching ying had to crack our brains to choreograph dance steps.
"i feel the earth move under my feet"...
the song is stuck in my head now.

common tests results out too.
history not returned yet.
i dont want to get it back too.
e.maths and physics was a disappointment.
although both As but i could have done much better.
especially for maths.
a.maths is...
just count myself lucky that i passed.

NDP CELEBRATIONS!
woke up at 5.15am.
reached school early.
helped diyana and nadia tie hair.
before the actual ceremony we practiced a little.
we the flag party had to wear gloves.
when we stood there at the side,
suddenly i was feeling nervous, plus a lil excitement.
cause just seeing the whole school already makes you feel jittery.
we're holding the national flag, cant afford any mistakes!
when the supporting contingent marched out and the whole school was silent,
its showtime.
slow march music played and we successfully marched out.
although we ended much later than the music, i think we flag party did a great job in marching!
congrats to us!
but i made a mistake after folding the flag.
i was not supposed to move when jaga gave the first timing.
ahhhhhhh. nevermind. at least it was only a few sec 1s who saw the mistake.
natinal anthem play and we get to salute.
i find it very honourable.
kinda hard to salute with the gloves though.
national day message and song went..
soon it was time to march out.
parade went well smoothly.

i walked in my boots.

anyway, thanks for polishing my boots people!
i've never seen my boots so shiny before.
the walk was not very long.
same as last year's.

BACK IN THE HALL
this year's ndp celebrations in the hall was not as fun compared to last year.
i think they showed too many videos.
and the one that featured the school,
okay for a moment i thought PRCS was some prestigeous school.
after all the stuff in the hall,
its end of school!
mrs low was hopping mad when our chlass had no mascot and the girls dint have the earrings.
and wanted us to stay back for one hour.
but we all ran away after that.

next up is dance practice.
ms huang booked the dance studio for us.
teached charmaine, kimberly and rui yi while at the same time choreographing new moves with ms huang.
i was hypering with my own spanish dance and ballet.
hahaha.
ms huang's hip hop is good.
we got to learn free hip hop from her.:D

danced for about 3 hours before we leave.
finally we're done with the choreography.
now we're left with formation and transition.

busyyyyy!
theres still a.maths common test tomorrow.

and lots and lots of chemistry and physics test.
plusplus, NDP practice and east division dance competition.
i need timeeee!
cant wait for this friday's national day celebrations.

its been my wish in primary school to do that.
but of course, i cant wait for the marching, not for anything else.

NUMBER 200 POST!~
i dint know i've been blogging for the 200th post already.
okay right finally im free to sneak on the computer.
busy busy this week.
how about i describe my o level oral?
one word.
DISASTER.
i was the 3rd last candidate and what do i expect?
examiner closing her eyes during conversation.
under the freeeeezing cold aircon, plus being nervous,
i messed up the passage like hell.
i kept stopping and read a lot of words wrongly.
and guess whats the conversation topic?

and so i go on saying about how a student should dress..blah blah.
and finally it was over.
im so not going to do well for this oral exam.
but at least i know im not the only one who suffered.
the sec 5s also said it was difficult.
just hope my listening paper and others will save me from getting a B.

this week besides the horrendous oral exam,
i failed my chemistry volumetic analysis test too.
despite it being questions from the worksheet.
i really need to start concentrating on my work.
i've been slacking all the way for 3 weeks.

and with my stoooopid muscle injury,
i cant dance properly, cant split.
i really hope it doesnt stay permanent.
if not i really dont know how to continue dancing.
please, just heal!

to edit my last post,

o level mt listening is this coming wednesday.
everyone can go home at 1.40 but i have to be listening.
its ok, next year my turn to leave early.

why not try living in mars or something.
for those who are still in their own fantasy utopic world,
its time to wake up and face the materialistic society.
cause im one of the sleepy ones who havent really waken up.
how selfish this world can be, its appalling.

just like an educated person wont marry a non-educated person. (by mr kek)
or when you think you are the best and have confidence, someone's just there to fight the throne from you.
you know you're not supposed to hurt your best friend, but you do it cause you're tired of your life too.
sometimes humans never be contented with what they have.
complains after complains just rattle on like nobody's business.
"i come first, you come second" is what tons of people live by.
if everyone can just give and take a bit,
wont this world be a better place?

browsing through my desktop "skies" file and found the whole lot of skies taken by Joe Yee last year. here's one lovely scenery.

and looking at the calendar,
'O' Levels MT oral exam is just the week after this.
i am not prepaaaaared!
i cant seem to read properly lately.
and on the 22nd its listening!
gahhhhh time pasts so fast.
written paper is on the 10th November.
and 4 days after is my ballet exam.
oh yeah ballet,
learning spanish dance now.
its damn cool.
a totally different style of dancing, and very wild.
im one-third complete with my own dance.
okay there's still a lot more to go though.
i think by now i've listened to Kelly Clarkson's Because Of You at least 30 times!

PRCS'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!
our school's actually 10 years old.
day started out with lunch at E!hub with Jia Ning, Lindsey and Ching Ying.
Jia Ning and I became instant black belt taekwondo (warriors?).
then when we went to school,
WOW!
the canteen's like some wedding dinner?
tables and chairs were covered in cloth and decorations around really looked like some wedding.
went to report at the 3rd level, Girl Guides holding room.
then there were two rehearsals before the actual performance.
oh i saw Teo Chee Hean!
Deputy Prime Minister!
he had no reaction during our performance though.
but he is taaaaallll. he is like two heads higher than Dr Ong.

our outdoor mass dance was quite a success.
congrats all UGs!
our hard work has been paid off.
the PDS did well too.
i was holding my breath throughout their performance,
just afraid they mught drop their rifles right in fromt of the GOH.
we practiced so many times that the real performance wasnt really much of a difference.
only with the additional eyes staring at us.
and Amos, you're so gonna get it!
thanks for the laugh when i was performing!

after our performance we got our dinner.
same usual cold food but was much nicer.
Ching Ying and i started dancing for some reason.
cant remember what.
then there was clear-up.
clear our own holding room and the confetti.
the confetti was fun!
we were sent back home after everything.
we cant stay in school!
what is this? dont let us see the school at night.
no choice.
all went home.
that is so boring.

and so this marks the end of the one-decade celebration.
the next time i would be like...25?

GIRL GUIDES CARNIVAL!
i thought this was a small event.
but it turned out to be so big.
the four of us,
me, Yu Wen, Atiqah and Lina helped out at the DJ booth.
we were helping in the collection of dedication slips.
thats tough work okay.
cause there were so many people that wanted to dedicate.
Atiqah and Lina became the dj's assistant.
Yu Wen and i attended to people.
okay i shall skip what we done all the way.
simply standing up.

food food food!
lots of food to eat.
duh! its a carnival!
had macdonalds for lunch though.
and that means eeeeeek.
bought a badge from AHS but it wasnt the one i wanted.
and a small drink from SACSS.
really small. hahaha.

saw many many many people.
from primary school friends to PLTC to NDP.
some just cant recognise me though.
i saw my whole patrol hibiscus in PLTC!
except Shahila. :(
i dont think she was at the carnival.
and then saw Ying Yan, and it was her nirthday.
Jocelin, whom i bought $10 of tickets from her.
i helped her save 10 bucks!
SAC's booth was just opposite our booth so i was always going there to talk to Jocelin.
saw the other Jocelyn and her twin Jesslyn.
i still cant differentiate them two.
and many many more.
just in all, it was a great day.
that's what's best in Guiding.
you make friends from all over singapore and meet up.

the day ended even better with ballet.
we video taped each other dancing.
to just see how we danced.
damn i dint video tape my waltz.
nevermind i shall do it next week.
dont worry, videos wont go out further than just ourselves.

last week of hols and it wont be extended,
at least not for pasir ris crest.
okay so yesterday same usual 10th anniversary practice.
then got the Singa thing.
took train all the way to bugis and ate at macdonalds.
cause we just dont know where to go.
okay that was quite fun.
the act was entertaining.
we were in the BLACK BOX.
was looking out for people i knew.
saw Grace there.
ha at least one i know!
and we now have to come up witha project to promote kindness and involve the school!
damn, what kinda project is this.

went back home with a headache.
i had a headache not because of anyone but because of being over-tired.
dint do any work at all!
still have some weird assignments to complete.

and today, whole day alone at home myself.

and i need them for my english assignment.
cause they are the only two small children actors that i know of.

MEET-UP WITH HUI WEN AND TRACY!
finally.
Tracy Lam was late!
can anyone imagine that?
i think she was 5 minutes late.
whose the one who ask us not to be late ah?
okay so we went to watch Ghost of Girlfriends' Past the first thing in the morning.
that was the first item of our long day.
the movie wasnt that nice though.
but luckily i wasnt pulled to watch something like hsm again. haha!

after movie we went to eat lunch at food junction.
this is what i miss too.
the next thing is bowling.
planned to go mrt station at 3pm.
so walk walk around.
then took mrt to tanah merah and waited for shuttle bus to go NSRCC.
hui wen's favourite place.

when we went there there wasnt any lane available.
so hui wen left her number and we went to the beach.
tracy just dont dare to go down to the sand.
its too dirty for her. haha.
she just stand and help us take photo.
i really wonder how you live through OBS!

got the call and went back to bowling.
the very good hui wen and tracy dint advise me the bowling-mountain-tortise that i needed to bring socks.
and i had to buy it for $1.20.
threw it away at the end.
okay i dint bowl for how long?
three years?
i totally suck at it.
keep going to the drain.
and huiwen the constant bowler without failed scored the highest.
i failed. :x

the shuttle bus was coming at 5.15,
dint have time to go back to the beach.
we were debating on where to go next.
tracy wanted east point cause its near her house.
hui wen wanted tampines mall.
i was neutral.
in the end we had a scissors-paper-stone and tracy lost.
she wanted to go home but we "bought" her.
must treat her bubble tea. xD

went back to tampines mall, to open plaza.
once again the cleanliness freak tracy dint sit down.
manage to take pictures despite the childern there.
tracy went to meet her parents at 6.30.
me and hui wen left later to eat.
and she forgot to eat her lunch--her squashed burger!
therefore her dinner was her lunch.
just nice tracy was also in the food court so she came eat with us.
her dad bought us drinks.
and hui wen was very full.

went to walk around again after dinner.
crossed that road again.
it was the 6th time in the day.
went up to tampines mall, the open place.
omg the sky was damn nice!
took some pictures there before tracy went to meet her parents.
we separated at around 8pm.
our perfect day ended.
how fast.

i felt that different feeling.
that feeling that couldnt be found in prcs.
im glad i got the chance to once again feel that happiness.
times are changing too fast, everyone's busy with their own life.
and i really miss those primary school days.
really treasured this day as the next time we meet, it'll be months later.
months later to have a break from the present.

recently found my ballet shoes in the shoe cabinet.
the old old old ones.
the first few pumps i wore.
ahhh the memories,
back when i first started dancing.
gosh thats like 10 years ago.
how fast time flies.

remember that i dare not jump when i was in pre-primary..
and the class was so big back then in yamaha.

look at the size difference between my first shoe and now!

MEET-UP WITH YIN WEI!
went bugis on thursday.
a whole lot of pics to upload.

so we met and ate in macdonalds.
went bugis street.
yin wei needed a bag.
so we went to all bag stores and searched for the cheapest one.
and i bought my star shorts.
$10 and its lousy stuff.
the colour come out like paint.
i should have bought the $12 one.

walked around bugis junction.
then took a lot of pictures.
then went swensens' eat ice cream.
ordered a chocolate one.
and it was damn big.
we both couldnt finish.
it was quite wasteful though.
but now we know,
that kinda ice cream is for two people to eat.

went home at 5.30 cause yin wei got tuition.
then i went vivo to meet my mum.

ohmygossshhh this show rocks!
i dont mind watching again.
its damn nice, very touching also.
and i loooveeee the comtemporary.
i must get the dvd!
i was getting very excited with salina beside me asking me to relax.
hahaa then there was swan lake,
dance of the cygnets somemore.
and i was "swan lake swan lake!".
im gonna find this movie online and watch it again.
i think this show is more of the attitude of dance.
how you actually feel it.

okay raaandoooom here.
first week of holidays,
which dont seems like a holiday at all.
but at least going to school everyday is better than staying at home.

yesterday when i stepped into school,
then it was spread that there was no ss class.
cursed and swear mr suhaimi like hell.
so we went to central to waste time.

today suppose to have ss from 8-9,
but i bet less than 5 went.
haha we unite as a class!

and can somebody tell me how to transfer music from a cd to my phone?
my computer dont seem to allow me to do that.

MID-NIGHT VOLUNTEER!
sorry this event is like last week but dint have time to post.
so..there goes our journey.

8pm
met lindsey and jia ning at their bus stop.
left ballet at 7.30 but still was the earliest.
then we took bus 53 with kimberly and ching ying on board.
travelled all the way noisily to changi airport.

8.30pm
we were quite late.
meeting time was 8.30 but we were still trying to find burger king.
finally met junie and the rest.
ching ying and jia ning havent eat dinner,
so we went to breeks.
they ordered their expensive meal and soon the ndp girls came meet us.

9 plus pm
jolin was very hyper.
while waiting for the bus she was a little crazy?
hahaha and on the bus worse.
when we reach east coast we were hypering our way through.
singing songs in the dark.
everyone was staring at us.
haha but that was fun.

10 plus pm
reached outward bound school.
some problems cropped up.
but soon we were hypering again.

mid-night
supposed to sleep but sat at the open space and slack.
some went to bathe.
then we were turning on songs and taking pictures.
at about 1 plus in the morning we started dancing.
dancing the 10 anniversary thing.
haha that was damn lame.
people were looking at us like we're some kind of weirdos.
dancing in the middle of the night.
at around 2am we went to bathe.
bathing in the middle of the night.
everyone has to assemble at 4.
by 3 plus we were starting to feel tired.
when we assembled,
all of us were red-eyed and were so tired.

4 plus am
regretted that we dint sleep.
cause we were so tired that sitting down was heaven.
me, lindsey, rui yi and kimberly were in one group.
jolin, jia ning, charmaine and ching ying in another.
my group was at the finishing line water point.
we were tasked to open bottle caps and close them.
it was damn stupid.
for what?
open bottles until we had blisters.
before the runners came at 7 am,
the four of us slept at the back.
skiving.
really too tired.

7 plus am
runners filled up the field slowly.
the first race started,
followed by the others.
saw felicia there.

8-11 plus am
quite a lot finished their race and were swarming in to get their drinks.
our tough jobs started.
opening cartons, and placing the bottles on the table.
after a while me and rui yi transferred to the other side to open 100plus cans.
that was even more painful.
and i was covered in 100plus.

12 plus pm
our duty was almost done.
time to go home.
but need wait for jolin that group.
their station was far far away.

1 plus pm
finally jolin's group came.
got our goodie bags and off we went home.
we walked for almost 3km in 1 hour plus to go a bus stop.
hiking.
took bus 16 to bedok interchange.
then took bus 17 back with lindsey and jia ning.

3 plus pm
finally reached home to sleep!

PET ROCKET!
okay in short this whole workshop turned out to be more interesting than i thought.
the rocket dawn and i made (our zebra rocket) flew successfully for both times-with and without parachute.
i was totally drenched by the crazy rocket.
we got to skip lessons and that was the best thing!
after school i was back to "childhood times" with spencer.
we were really childishly flying our rockets in the air.
haha whats wrong with that?
i miss being innocent.

i think i almost fainted when i saw the 29.
i left my soul for a moment and my whole body went numb.
why?

WHY??
why did i get that mark?
why?
nobody could answer me,
not even the teachers.
but i must get the answer.
i dint fail,
but i failed myself.
failed terribly.
my aim was at least a 42.

okay,i have accepted the fact of that mark.
now i just really need to know why.

VOLUNTEER!
yepp me, jolin, lindsey and ching ying went to volunteer for the Singapore Passion Run yesterday.
it wasnt the run yet,
it was just giving out number tags and stuff to the participants.

met all of them at pasir ris mrt at 8am.
and everyone was on time.

we were supposed to meet junie at eunos mrt,
but we got carried away and alighted one stop after.
met junie and we continued our journey to Novena Square.

got our super damn big event tee.
the smallest size they got was size L.
and that means a skirt for me and lindsey.
we were assigned our duties.
i was a last minute chosen runner.
runner doesnt mean to run literally.
we all thought runner means running for the race.
haha but no its just someone who assist the counter person.

my counter person was Ee Ling.
we got to work fast.
okay it was quite fun,
running here and there to get the sizes and number tags.
but after a while got tired.
runners have no chair to sit.

lunch time!
ate at the staircase.
the food was so oily and it made me feel even more nauseous.
so in the end i dint finish and went to buy fruits instead.
more natural.

back to work!
i was runner for a while then Ee Ling swaped position with me.
i was the counter person now.
the same procedure goes like this:
"Hi, may i have your ic please?"
(check ic number)
(got number tag from runner)
"Please check if your name is correct."
"You ordered a size S?"
"This is your number tag and your timing chip, you have to bring these two on the day itself.
"All information are in this booklet."
"If there is no problem, please sign here."
(pack the stuff in a bag)
"Thank you!"

so i went on and on for i-dont-know how many people.
but it was really fun!
and i get to sit.

i was more sick than ever so i dint eat dinner.
it was almost 8pm and i was too sick to do any more work,
so i sat at a corner.
then everyone was asking me if i needed this and that,
haha felt like a queen.
ate panadol and i "slept" for a while.

ready to go home!
we were lazy to change out of our event tee although it was gigantically big.
took mrt back home and...
the whole mrt was silent except us.
reached home not so sick but slept very quickly.

the run is next week.
and volunteers have to stay overnight!
haha it will be damn fun next week.

went out with salina today.
we practically walked the whole tampines 1, tampines mall and century square.
she was late for seven minutes!
but i waited longer than that.

eating lunch was already walking here and there.
we couldnt decide on what to eat.
in the end went food junction or something?

we walked around here and there,
for a few hours.
then salina bought her elmo shirt when on our way home.
she gave the shirt to the shop person,
then he disappeared.
and later on salina found the shirt at the back of all the other displayed shirts.
haha!
creepy.

yeah exams are officially over for everyone!
celebrate people!

I GOT MY NEW SHOES!
haha ok im kinda crazy over it.
finally i got my new character shoes!
dont need to dance with the lousy broken one,
and dont need to worry that it'll fly off when i kick.
though this is not the England one that i wanted but its definately better than nothing.

MYEs are coming up and i so need to study.

had interview today.
it was damn rushed.
went in like only 5 minutes and it was done.
im afraid of ms chua's eyes now.
while waiting for our turn,
me and vanessa were singing hyms back when we were in SACPS.
omg i really miss those times.
we recalled most of the hyms,
and it was like back to those carefree no-guys days.
we even sang our school song!
really, i missed those days.

SPEECH DAY!!
finally its here!
oohh ahhh the school is so beautiful.
reached school early to open my salon.
joe yee was my first customer, followed by rui yi, kimberly blah blah.
i broke my record,
i tied more than 10 heads today!

so we had a first round of parade to film,
cause it looked like it was going to rain.
then we went up to classrooms to get our burgers.
burgers with meat and bread only,
and maybe some sauce.
tied a few other heads then went on with the hairspray.
charmaine sprayed ms huang's hairspray like water,
and was totally fascinated by it.
haha!
my head was hard after charmaine's great hands on the spray.

then...
it was time to prepare for the actual parade.
went down at 4pm,
the parade starts at 4.40.
we had 40 minutes of dont-know-what-to-do.

and then...
BOOM!
a very piercing thunder roared through the sky.
the lightning warning was flashing like an anxious child.
soon raindrops strated falling and we were praying hard it would stop.
but my darling was'nt on our side,
so we had no choice but to get into shelter when the rain got heavier.
parents also went into the hall.

but the rain stopped so we went out again.
parade was a success!
congrats to all UGs who put in so much hard work.

rushed up to the hall for prize giving.
dr ong's speech was looong,
but the GOH was damn entertaining.
everyone woke up when he gave his hilarious speech.
finally could go up and get my prize.
after getting my prize went to exchange place and sit with joe yee.
the guzheng dance and choir performed then we left.
went down to meet my mum and brother.
the food this year not so appealing,
but the school at night was beautiful.

i asked my mum and bro to go home first,
wanted to help the sec 1s but in the end they dint need.
so went back home at around 10 plus.
speech day was great, especially this is a once in a lifetime for me to get a prize.

busy busy busy!
first week of school and im going home at the earliest 7 every day.
speech day, prize-giving, EV;
never ending.
today's footdrill test was..
I MUST SUGGEST TO CHANGE THE FORMAT OF THE TEST.
we go through 12 rounds of set ceremonies and drills.
can anyone believe we did six hours of footdrill?
cause we just did it today and my feet are still aching.
from 8.30-2.30, we've been repeating the same thing over and over again.
i dont think i will pass the test.
omg how did i live through today?
but its a very valuable experience,
now i will never forget my set ceremonies.

ohs and i tied 7 heads today,
including mine.
5 scorpions and 2 ponytails.
haha i feel so accomplished looking my work of art on Dawn, Kimberly, Amirah and Sheryn's head.
okay there's still physics test to study,
damn it.
that chapter.
that chapter which the trainee teacher taught.
die.
no not die, is torture before death.
i cannot fail physics!!!

holidays are only called holidays in primary school,

whoosh one week of hol is gone.
so what have i been doing?
monday speech day practice.
tuesday amazing race at epps.
friday cca leader training.

the training yesterday was fun yeah.
at least more fun than i had expected.
i thought was only teachers talking,
but the school actually hired the external trainers.
they're freaky,
one of them could see through me like x-ray,
guessed my cca down to girl guides, GB and ncc.
hahaha.
we're fed well, i thought we're gonna starve.
till now my hand still a lil pain from the tug of war.
gosh that game was energy-draining.
first time play a four-side tug-of-war.
and its all physics.
if you suck at physics then there's no way you can win this game.
what resultant force and blah blah.
hmm teachers should use this game to teach forces.

when school reopens thats it,
all the work come again.
test test test.
and there's a whole lot of rehearsals to attend.
prize-giving, speech day,
and God knows whats more.
but one thing to celebrate is,
HCL CLASS IS FINALLY OPEN IN PRCS FOR US!
that means no more missing of lessons,
no more attending ccas late,
no more travelling to ngee ann,
and no more lmm!!!
YAY!

and today's the 2009 ndp selection.
one year already, so fast.
saw the new ndp blog.
ahhhhh i miss ndp damn lots man!
i wish i could go this year,
but there's really no time.

CHEERING COMPT AND CROSS COUNTRY!
yeah the day's finally here,
the day we've been practising so hard for.

okay cheering compt,
no comments about my own class.
i really envy those sec 4 classes that can coordinate so well,
like 4/7, 4/8, 4/9,
basically all the sec 4 and 5 classes.
will 3/8 be that good next year?
i miss 2/5 cheer man!
i still can recite it well!
nevermind. anyway,
congrats to 3/5, 3/6 and 3/9 for emerging top 3 in the sec 3 level!

cross country!
my aim was top 3,
and yeah ok i did it.
i actually carried the bottle the bottle i got from the water point all the way until the second bridge!
and i drank sips of water on the way that caused me severe pain.
i walked for the last part and He han saw me and shouted,
okay thanks for that,
it made me run to the finishing line.
got third in position,
im satisfied already cause i dint even train.
surekka was behind me(again),
and rachel got first(again).
haha we almost met our target,
for top 3 SACs.
almost...
but nvm we'll try again next year. :)

ahhhhh my first bronze medal in my life!

then in the afternoon went with jolin, dawnie, maliah, yu wen and ms chua to meet the hwa chong scouts at raffles place burger king.
omg we're so small can, they're jc students,

they damn efficient,
whatever we discussed they plan out.

CCA OPEN HOUSE!
so fast its another year.
recalling when i was in Sec 1,
Amanda was in Sec 3 when she came talking to me about Guides.
at that time i was like "wah Sec 3 so big",
how time flies,
im "so big" now.
haha.

so it was really a busy day for us.
yesterday we were baking the cookies and brownies,
today we made the bananas.
i feel so accomplished,
i baked cookies!
i have never done that before,
except for home ec lessons. xD
andand i convinced 8 parents and girls about Guiding.
omg im so happy.
lol i dont know why but its like an achievement.
